Travelling Bricks Limited Time Lego Event

Travelling Bricks has appeared in Warsaw for a limited-time event exhibiting a range of different creations built from Lego bricks. While they are not affiliated with Lego they certainly have the skills of the Lego Master Model Builders with over 120 unique models on display across the 1,500 square meter floor area. These Models together took over 1,000,000 bricks and their play area for kids and adults to take part in the building have over 300,000 bricks.

Exhibits

The primary exhibit shows the unique models created by the Travelling Bricks artisans and is divided into a variety of thematic zones, mainly Water, Earth, Air and Space. Each with their own unique creations.

The second Exhibition is a 3D Art gallery where you and your family can take poses in front of a variety of pictures making funny, realistic or cool images to enjoy and have later as a memory of your experience at Travelling Bricks.

Exhibit 1 Thematic Zones

The Earth Zone shows the journey than from ancient humans and their inventions until the modern day. There is a display of a interesting variety of machines and vehicles each which have left their own distinct mark on the course of history.

The Water Zone documents humanities mastery over the seas, beginning with the ancient sailboats such as the Trireme, before progressing onto 19th-century steamships and paddleboat. More modern ships are shown such as modern container ships, yachts and racing boats and lastly the coup-de-grace a 7.5 meter-long model of the Titanic.

The Air Zone shows a timeline of the history of air travel starting off with the first models of planes such as the Wright Brothers plane and an early helicopter, progressing to models like the Zeppelin airship. More modern models are also shown such as Concorde.

The Space Zone lets us have glimpse of what the astronauts used to achieve travel into the deep expanse of space. This area delves into the universe with reconstructions of rockets, rovers, space shuttles, and the Carl Sagan Space Station.

The Play Area is a creative space for visitors of all ages to unleash their creativity and to build houses, vehicles or anything else that they can imagine with the numerous blocks provided. We easily spent about an hour visiting both exhibits (the Lego exhibit and the 3D gallery exhibit) and another 3 hours in the play area making our own creations.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Travelling Bricks exhibition offers a unique and immersive experience, blending history, technology, and creativity, all through the medium of LEGO® bricks. It’s a great afternoon of fun for the whole family to enjoy and really opens up the possibility of everything you can do with the Lego’s that might be collecting dust at home.
